Shirley Mae Thompson, 74, of Farmington died Oct. 24, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Thompson was a seamstress for Wiseman Theatrical. Born May 27, 1943, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Tillie Mae (Huskey) Glenn and Claude Woodard. She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Jack Thompson.
She is survived by four children: David Woodard of Arnold, Carmen (Ed) Smith of Farmington, Donald Thompson Jr. of Jerseyville, Ill. and Carol Thompson of St. Louis; a sister: Fran (Richard) Yount of Arnold; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son: Gary Thompson; and a brother: Wayne Woodard.
A private memorial service was held. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
