Scott Ian Trent, 45, of De Soto died May 22, 2018, at his home. Mr. Trent was an auto mechanic and served in the Air National Guard in Illinois. He enjoyed fishing, mechanic work and coin collecting. He was musically talented and was interested in the Wild West. Born Sept. 5, 1972, in Peoria, Ill., he was the son of Alan Trent and Jeannie (Bright) Trent of Florida.
He is survived by his wife: Jennifer (Peterson) Trent of De Soto; two daughters: Breanna Trent of De Soto and Amber Trent of De Soto; his parents-in-law: Kenneth and Carolyn Peterson of Mackinaw, Ill.; and one brother: Shawn (Angela) Trent of Eureka, Ill.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
