Scott Andrew Parson, 52, of Farmington died Feb. 8, 2022. Mr. Parson, who grew up in De Soto, enjoyed attending family events, talk radio, sports and cooking shows, soccer coaching books, making candles and spending time with his family and dogs. Born July 14, 1969, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Woody and Joan Parson.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years: Patrice (Harness) Parson; two daughters: Kali and Samantha Parson; two sons: Ryan and Reid Parson; a grandson: Treston Drennen; a brother: James (Pam) Parson; a sister: Elizabeth (Parson) Bennett; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 14, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Peaceful Ridge Mausoleum in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the NextStep for Life Foundation, P.O. Box 97, Mapaville MO 63065.
