Ronald M. Pryor, 85, of Cadet died Nov. 2, 2026, at Potosi Manor. Mr. Pryor was a member of the American Legion Post 601 in Davisville and the Emergency Response Team in Viburnum. He was a mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran. Born on Nov. 15, 1940, in Pilot Knob, he was the son of the late Louis Marion and Mary Elizabeth (Dennis) Pryor.
He is survived by three children: Bryan Pryor of Cadet, Jeff Pryor of West Virginia and Michaelle (Carl) Hall of Desloge; two brothers: Roger (Mary Ann) Pryor of St. Louis, Roy (Carol) Pryor and Linda (David) Burch of De Soto; a sister-in-law: Rita Pryor of Festus; and a grandchild: Logan Hall.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Robert Lee Pryor.
A memorial gathering will be held 10 a.m. until the service at noon Saturday, Nov. 14, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Inurnment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
