Robert “Bob Lewis Freese, 57, of Eureka died Feb. 8, 2020, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Freese was a longtime member of the Carpenters Union and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Born March 5, 1962, in Columbia, he was the son of the late Robert and Alice Freese.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Karen M. Freese; a daughter: Allison Freese; his mother-in-law: Verna (the late James) Boyer; a sister: Karen (Gene) Rader; a brother-in-law: James “Jimmy” Boyer; and a nephew: Steven (Marnie) Clark.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14, at Hoffmeiser South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary in House Springs. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoffmeister South County Chapel.
