Robert Leroy Weidenhoffer, 88, of De Soto died May 6, 2022, at his home. Mr. Weidenhoffer was a truck driver for Ambassador Envelope Co. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of De Soto Elks, the De Soto VFW, Amvets Post 48, the KMVA and the NRA and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Born Feb. 9, 1934, in St Louis, he was the son of the late Bonnie (Violet) and Frank Weidenhoffer.
He is survived by his wife: Wilma (Woodfin) Weidenhoffer; three daughters: Sandra (Kevin) McMullin, Diane (Jacob) Trigg and Tina (Troy Richburg) Moffis, all of De Soto; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: William Weidenhoffer and Emil Weidenhoffer; and two sisters: Betty Davis and Ruth (William) Scott.
Private burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home.
