Robert J. Malone, 90, of Cedar Hill died Aug. 14, 2015, at his home. Mr. Malone loved attending church and enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, watching football and the baseball Cardinals. Born Oct. 4, 1924, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Clarence and Mary (Jobe) Malone. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sharon Malone.
He is survived by six children: Robert Malone of House Springs, Gerald (Martha) Malone of St. Clair, Nancy Smith of Cedar Hill, Pamela (Jack) Ramsey of House Springs, Linda Partney of High Ridge and John Malone of Dittmer; 14 grandchildren: Robert, Aaron, Molly, Gerald Jr., Eric, Tina, Tiffany, Jeffrey, Penny, Lisa, Lori, Megan, Johnny and Jeremy; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Margaret Maryweather.
Visitation is scheduled from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at Chapel Hill mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the funeral home. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1867 Lackland Hill Parkway, St. Louis, 63146. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
