Robert Hayes, 71, of Fenton died April 7, 202. Mr. Hayes had a passion for old cars and enjoyed attending car shows and watching NASCAR and wrestling. He enjoyed cooking and would always help anyone in need. Born June 6, 1949, he was the son of the late Oscar and Betty Hayes.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Cheryl Hayes of Fenton; three children: Chris Simmons, Kenny (Melissa) Hayes of Pevely and Bill (Brittney) Hayes of Byrnes Mill; two siblings: James Hayes of Illinois and Kathy Hayes-Bromley of Fenton; and four grandchildren: William, Addilyn, Haley and Mackenzie. He was preceded in death by a sister: Betty Jean (Len) Crites.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
