Rita Nellie Juliette, 90, of De Soto, died Oct. 7, 2022, in De Soto. Mrs. Juliette was a homemaker who enjoyed shopping, going to Branson and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and the Columbia Anns. Born Sept. 17, 1932, in Old Mines, she was the daughter of the late Edward Dean and Emma (Portell) Dean.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Francis Juliette.
She is survived by three sons: Edward (Lauren) Juliette of De Soto, James (Janet) Juliette of De Soto, and Donald (Tina) Juliette of St. Clair; a daughter: Rita Boyer of De Soto; a grandson: Matthew Boyer; three granddaughters: Cassandra Coleman, Kayla Robinson and Miranda Derickson; a great-grandson: Oliver Derickson; three great-granddaughters: Whitley Coleman, Skylar Robinson and Raelyn Robinson; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Sidney, Steven and Vincent Dean; and two sisters: Lucille Rundel and Nazarine Horn.
A visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 11, at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral Mass officiated by Father Alexander Anderson will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 504 S. Third St., De Soto. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Rock Road, De Soto. Memorials may be made to the Poor Souls in Purgatory or American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Homes.
