Rick Dale “Ricky” Moore, 30, of Eureka died Nov. 19, 2022, in Anaheim, Calif. Mr. Moore graduated from Eureka High School in 2010. He was a gifted athlete and enjoyed playing football, traveling, playing video games, listening to music, working with his hands and spending time with family and friends. Born June 28, 1992, he was the son of Barry and Cindy (Gonzales) Moore of Eureka.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son: Aiden; a brother: Troy Moore of Hillsboro; a sister: Tabitha (Greighton) Short of O’Fallon; a nephew: Gabriel; a niece: Kennedy; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Dale and Jaquelyn Moore, Ray and Faye Henshaw and Genero Gonzales; an aunt: Dolores King; and a cousin: Brad King.
Memorial visitation is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Central Baptist Church, 601 N Central Ave., in Eureka. Arrangements are under the direction of Midlawn Funeral Home in Union.
