Rex Levoy Therrell Jr., 65, of Imperial died Feb. 27, 2023, at his home. Mr. Therrell was born July 31, 1957, in St. Louis County, the son of the late Mary Blanche (Sprayberry) and Rex L. Therrell Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Vicki (Hughes) Therrell of Imperial; a daughter: Jennifer (Kevin) Briggs of Arnold; two stepdaughters: Jeniffer (Stephanie) Schmidt of St. Peters and Lindsey Owens of Imperial; two brothers: Robert (Sharon) Therrell of Crystal City and Tony (Cathy) Therrell of Pevely; seven grandchildren: Carli A. Briggs, Evan M. Briggs, Sutton R. Schmidt, Jaydon D. Owens, Gia I. Ryan, Joseph S. Plaud and Geo A. Pugh; five nieces and nephews: Paula (Larry) Klapesky, Jason (Tiffany) Therrell, Jessica Square, Mallory Therrell and Bobby (Amy) Therrell; many great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister: Sandra Kay Berger; and a nephew: Sam Berger.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Friday, March 3, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Randy Gray. Memorials may be made to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
