Regina Carolyn Burg, 79, of Pevely died Sept. 19, 2020, in Herculaneum. Ms. Burg had worked as an optometrist and attended Rockport Baptist Church in Arnold. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Police Wives Association, and she enjoyed reading, dancing and yard sales. Born Oct. 19, 1940, in Jonesboro, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Lillie Mae (Bell) Caldwell.
She is survived by two daughters: Katrina Ann (Dan McCabe) Burg of Herculaneum and Kathleen Frances (Brian Jones) Burg of Pevely; two granddaughters: Brittany (Christian) Archibald and Katrina Laws: and five great-grandchildren: Dalton Cummings, Anna Archibald, Reid Archibald, Gabriel Dimercurio and Dominic Dimercurio.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Angel Caldwell; a brother: Ernest Caldwell; and two sisters: Edith Coplin and Lavetra Young.
A graveside service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Condolences may be offered at mahnfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
