Raymond Charles Roorda, 88, Arnold

Raymond Charles Roorda, 88, of Arnold died Dec. 17, 2025, at his home. Mr. Roorda was an electrical contractor and homebuilder. He was a devout Christian. He enjoyed the outdoors, bowling, model railroading and spending time with family and friends. Born June 9, 1937, he was the son of the late Charles and Hilda (Till) Roorda. He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda (Toombs) Roorda.

He is survived by a son: Jeff (Nancy); three granddaughters: Macie, Lydia and Sophie; a sister: Mary Alberts; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son: Tim.

Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 29, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the funeral home. A committal service will follow from noon to 12:15 p.m. in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
