Ralph W. Helton, 82, High Ridge

Ralph W. Helton, 82, of High Ridge died Sept. 11, 2021. Mr. Helton was a hard worker, and he enjoyed driving big trucks and watching races. He also liked classic cars. Born Aug. 9, 1939, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Wade and Marie (Bilyeu) Helton.

He is survived by his wife: Mary (Tyrey) Helton; four children: Jeffrey Helton, Cheryl Thomas, Gregory Helton and Suzanne (Gregory) Pingleton; two grandchildren: Brandon O’Reilly and Lori Ann Thomas; a stepgrandson: Eric Pingleton; four great-grandchildren: Maiya and Trystan Brown, and Addilyn and Sawyer Pingleton; and two siblings: Erline Whitaker and Larry Helton.

He also was preceded in death by a son: Gary Helton; a daughter-in-law: Connie Helton; and a sister: Judy Finders.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 2 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 18) at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, 63110. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
