Paul De Gonia, 88, Imperial

Paul De Gonia, 88, of Imperial died Jan. 28, 2022, in Herculaneum. Mr. De Gonia served in the U.S. Navy Reserves and was a self-employed welder. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Imperial. Born Feb. 6, 1934, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Phyllis (Welsh) and Hubert De Gonia.

He is survived by two siblings: Joyce Lawson of Imperial and Ronald De Gonia of Imperial.

He also was preceded in death by a sister-in-law: Rita De Gonia.

Funeral services will be Thursday (Feb. 10) at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 6020 Old Antonia Road, in Imperial, with Father Shaughnessy officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
