Paul C. Perry, 93, of De Soto died Sept. 17, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Perry owned and operated Perry’s Jewelry Store in De Soto until his retirement and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in De Soto. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. Born April 6, 1927, in Pevely, he was the son of the late Arthur James and Alda (Conrad) Perry. He was preceded in death by two wives: Ruth M. (Beckham) Perry and Glenda W. (Reynolds) Graham-Perry.
He is survived by three children: Nancy (John) Drew of De Soto, Paul James (Sheila) Perry of Bloomfield and Roger Allen Perry of St. Louis; five grandchildren: Scott (Kim) Hammon, Elizabeth (Harrison) Chien, Andrew Perry, Timothy Perry and Todd Drew; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by five siblings: Cora Stivers, Nellie Whaley, Margie Wynn, Florence Perry and A.J. Perry.
Funeral services were private. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
