Othela L. “Reeny” (Isaacs) Cook, 79, of Hillsboro died Nov. 18, 2016, in St. LouisCounty. Mrs. Cook was a member of Morse Mill Baptist Church. Born Jan. 5, 1937, in Blodgett, Mrs. Cook was the daughter of the late Henry E. and MarvellI. (Gaither) Isaacs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Cook.
She is survived by a daughter: Lynnette “Lynn” Cook of Hillsboro; a son: Timothy “Tim” Cook of Hillsboro; three sisters: Laila (Jim) Knuppe of Cape Girardeau, Carmelia (the late Sonny) Bryans of Poplar Bluff; and Glenda (Kenneth) Moore of Lee’s Summit; a brother: Robert “Allen” (Joyce) Isaacs of Ste. Genevieve; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, at Morse Mill Baptist Church, 6955 Hwy. B, Dittmer. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the church. Interment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro.
