Wayne Alexander West, 85, of High Ridge died June 21, 2023, in St. Louis. Mr. West had a passion for classic cars and was proud of his vast collection, especially his 1940 and 1941 Fords. He also loved animals and, along with his wife, raised and showed world-champion paint horses. He was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Born June 21, 1938, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Leona (Specht) and Milfred West.
He is survived by his wife: Ruth (Marcus) West; three children: Johnny West, Mindi (Steve) Brothers and Alexander (Stephanie) Tomey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Victoria.
A celebration of life will be held later. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
