Steven Homer Thebeau, 71, of De Soto died Sept. 10, 2023, at the Villas De Soto. Mr. Thebeau was a carpenter. Born April 5, 1952, in De Soto, he was the son of the late Juanita (Huskey) and Homer Thebeau.
He is survived by two children: Jeff (Nicole) Thebeau of Springhill, La., and Renee Hayes of Potosi; five siblings: Dale (Marilyn) Thebeau of De Soto, Brenda (Mike) Horton of Cader, Gary (Laura) Thebeau of De Soto, Dawn (Jon) Hedger of Joplin and Tim (Brenda) Thebeau of Linn Creek; three grandchildren: Chance Thebeau, Ember Green and Drew Thebeau; two great-grandchildren: Hutton Thebeau and Riker Green; and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at De Soto Christian Church, 4151 Fountain City Road, in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Ron Follmer. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
