Robert “Craig” Doyle, 62, of Crystal City died Aug. 30, 2023 in Crystal City. Mr. Doyle served six years in the U.S. Navy and worked as a technical product specialist for MasteRound company. He was a 1979 graduate of Windsor High School. He loved riding his Harleys, hunting and playing golf with his buddies, traveling with his wife, Lisa, and walking his beloved dog, Bella. He was a member of Gracelife Chapel in Pevely, where he served as service security, helped with the food pantry and with the children at Sunday school class. He was also a member of the Elks Lodge 1721 in Festus and the American Legion in Imperial. Born Feb. 18, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Viola M. (Renfro) and Joseph D. Doyle.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa (Edney) Doyle of Crystal City; four children and stepchildren; Khristan (Stone) Lamb of Arcata, Calif., Joe (Anna) Doyle of Butte, Mont., Joshia (Amy) Gerstner of Farmington and Jordan (Jennifer) Gerstner of Waverly, Iowa; three siblings: Madge Doyle of Oakville, Dean Doyle of Dittmer and Chris (Kim) Doyle of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515
Collins Ave., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Dan Lord. Memorials may be made to the Legacy Fund of Gracelife Chapel, 1 Victory Drive, Pevely, 63070. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
