Marsha Lee Helms, 75, of Herculaneum died Sept. 22, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Helms worked for many years in the Dunklin R-5 School District and in the electronics department at Walmart in Festus. Born Dec. 13, 1947, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Dixie (Allen) and Leroy Williams Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leonard Dewayne Helms
She is survived by two sons: David Wayne (Marnie) Helms of Park Hills and Brian Lee (Katie) Helms of Herculaneum; a sister-in -law: Helen Williams of Herculaneum; a brother-in-law: Bill Helms of Herculaneum; three grandchildren: Brock Helms of Park Hills, Mason Helms of Herculaneum and Alyssa Kate Helms of Festus; as well as many other family members and friends. She also was preceded in death by a brother: John Williams.
Visitation is scheduled from 4 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept 29, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
