Lloyd “Sunny” Julius Redwine, 92, of Festus died April 27, 2023, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Mr. Redwine owned the Colonial Rest Home in De Soto and the North Point Care Center in Festus. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of the Festus VFW, and he enjoyed making jewelry, the outdoors and gardening. Born Sept. 14, 1930, in Herculaneum, he was the son of the late Opal Vinyard.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Eileen (Vessell) Redwine.
He is survived by two children: Carrie (Lindell) Miller and Chris Redwine; three grandchildren: Amy, Dawn and Kenny Merseal; and five great-grandchildren: Cameron Wilfong and Alyssa, Zachary, Olivia and Joshua Carroll.
He was preceded in death by a son: Mark (Debbie) Redwine.
No services were held. Arrangements were under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, Desloge.
