Virginia Marie “Ginny” Roth, 73, of Arnold died Oct. 27, 2026. Mrs. Roth was a retired RN. She was Catholic and a member of Holy Family Parish. Born Aug. 18, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Gladys (Gerdt) Fletcher and James “Shep” Fletcher.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years: James August “Jim” Roth of Arnold; four children: Carrie Roth (Brian) Bettlach of St. Louis, Andrew Roth of St. Louis, Joe (Brenna) Roth of St. Charles and Alex Roth of Arnold; six grandchildren: Mikey, Mia and Rachel Bettlach, all of South City, and Winnie, Nella and Fletcher Roth, all of St. Charles; 12 siblings: Carol (Jerry) Yochim of Fenton, Larry (Susan) Fletcher of St. Louis, Terri (the late Roy) Schneider of St. Louis, Jeanne Fletcher of St. Louis, Mary Kay Higgins of St. Louis, Frank (Rene) Fletcher of Fenton, Mary Lou Kurtz of Cape Girardeau, Gerry (Karen) Roth of Ste. Genevieve, Elizabeth Roth of New York and Ste. Genevieve, Robert (Kathy) Roth of Ste. Genevieve, Pat (Tom Phillips) Beckham of Fenton and Paul (the late Tina) Roth of Ste. Genevieve; and her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law: Louis and Rosemary Roth; a sister-in-law: Tina Roth; a brother-in-law: Roy Schneider; a nephew: Ted Schneider; and Mary Kay Spencer.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 676 W. Lockwood Ave., in Webster Groves. Memorials may be made to the food pantry at St. Alphonsus "Rock" Church, 1118 N. Grand, St. Louis, 63106. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
