Travis Gordon Terry, 56, of De Soto died June 16, 2026, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Terry graduated from De Soto High School in 1988, where he played football and baseball. He was known for his robust sense of humor and gregarious nature. He was a skilled pool player and loved sports, music and spending time with friends. He was employed at Kozzy’s Bar and Grill in De Soto, where he was known to put countless smiles on people’s faces. Born Nov. 23, 1969, in Farmington, he was the son of Judith (Koch) Terry of Hillsboro and the late Dean Alan Terry.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a child: Julia Terry; two siblings: Deana (Chris) Roland and Cody (Jessica) Terry; two nieces: Halle (Ryan) McLaughlin and Evelyn Roland; and a nephew: Aidan Roland.
He was preceded in death by a close cousin: Robert “Bobby” Terry III.
Visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. until a funeral service at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
