Thomas Conrad "Tommy" Sherwood, 77, of Barnhart died Dec. 11, 2024, in St. Louis. Mr. Sherwood was a personal planning salesman. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and lived by the motto “Semper Fidelis.” Born April 10, 1947, in Dover, N.H., he was the son of the late Pearl Mae (Haynes) and Dale Sherwood.
He is survived by his wife: Dona M. (Bereswill) Sherwood of Barnhart; four children: Angela Litton, John (Cathy) Sherwood, Jeffrey Sherwood and Jamie Sherwood; a stepdaughter: Lisa (Matthew) Pavia-Higel; 11 grandchildren: Jordan, Dylan, Blaine, Kaitlynn, Nate, Logan, Emma, Sofia, Noah, Abram and Hudson; a sibling: Jay Wyatt; a niece: Susan Wyatt; and numerous friends.
A memorial celebration of life and pickleball tournament will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Gateway Region YMCA. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County.
