Bedrosian, Theodore 'Ted'

Theodore "Ted" Bedrosian, 65, of St. Louis died May 5, 2026. Mr. Bedrosian spent his life rooted in the South City community of St. Louis. He had a career with the Painters Union, where he worked until his retirement and was known for his craftsmanship and commitment to his trade. He had an appreciation for old show cars and took pride in renovating homes, blending his love for design with his skilled hands. He loved spending time with family and maintained strong connections with his South City friends throughout his life. He was considered a natural teacher and mentor to others. He will be remembered for his dedication to family, unwavering support, infectious dad jokes, laughter, enthusiasm and strength. Born Jan. 13, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Fred R. Bedrosian and Serena M. (Saputo) Bedrosian.

He is survived by his wife: Kristal (Becker) Bedrosian; five children: Theodore R. (Kinyata) DeMent, Melissa L. (Tim) Bedrosian, Levi D. Bedrosian, Richard E. (Makayla) Bedrosian and Carmen M. Bedrosian; seven grandchildren; his mother-in-law: Ayse Becker; a brother-in-law: Volkan (Lisa) Becker; and numerous nephews, nieces and bonus family members.

He was predeceased by two brothers: Fred J. Bedrosian and Peter J. “Pete” Bedrosian; and his father-in-law: Walter H. Becker.

A viewing will be held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home, 7027 Gravois Ave., in St. Louis. There will not be a burial service. Arrangements are under the direction of John L. Ziegenhein and Sons Funeral Home.
