Susan Lynn Bolden, 64, of Pevely died Oct. 29, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Bolden worked as a registered nurse for St. Anthony’s Hospital in South County and retired after 38 years. She will be remembered for her zest for life and her dedication to her children. She enjoyed going to concerts, camping and travelling, especially to the lake or the beach. Her faith gave her strength and hope through difficult times. Born July 29, 1962, in Campbell, she was the daughter of Katheryn (Mills) Reese-Campbell of South St. Louis County and the late Leon Reese. She was the stepdaughter of Earl Campbell of South St. Louis County.
In addition to her mother and stepfather, she is survived by her husband: James Bolden; a daughter: Nichole Dawn Moran of Pevely; a son: Benjamin Stanley Moran of Pevely; a grandson: Eli Beatte of Farmington; a brother: David (Stacy) Reese of South St. Louis County; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Johnny Gibson of Van Buren. Interment will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home.
