Steven P. Brouk, 75, of Hillsboro died Oct. 29, 2026. Mr. Brouk loved spending time with his sons and grandchildren. He was known as a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family and was willing to lend a helping hand. He had a passion for hunting and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing. He also enjoyed tinkering with and working on vehicles, often finding something to fix or keep him busy. He will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic and the memories he created with those closest to him. Born April 7, 1951, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Albert and Ruth (Sandbrink) Brouk.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Becky (Eggemeyer) Brouk.
He is survived by two children: Jason (Emily) Brouk and Steve (Britney) Brouk; four grandchildren: Dusty, Zachary, AnnaBelle and Luke; six siblings: Mike Brouk, Mark Brouk, Bruce Brouk, Kevin Brouk, Sandy Winter and Scot Brouk; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
