Simon Charles Fisher, 22, of Austin, Texas, formerly of Festus, died Aug. 23, 2024. Mr. Fisher worked in the construction and siding business. Born Aug. 22, 2002, in St. Louis, he was the son of Jamie Ducote (Jan) Von Tress of Festus and Wesley Fisher of Crystal City.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two siblings: Nicolas Fisher and Brooklyn Fisher; grandparents: Ben and Debbie Ducote and Joyce (Bill) Fisher; a great-grandmother: Verna Fisher; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a grandparent: Joe Fisher; and great-grandparents; Richard and Delores Ducote and Finies and Charlotte Luecke.
A celebration of life is scheduled for noon Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Amvets Post 42, 555 Joachim Ave., in Herculaneum. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
