Sharon Lee Ward, 79, of Pevely died April 6, 2024, in St. Louis. Mrs. Ward worked as an activities director for Silver Hills Skilled Nursing Facility before she retired. She loved spending time with family and friends, doing arts and crafts, decorating and going to the casino. Born Dec. 26, 1944, in Ottawa, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Bertha Emeline (Shoup) and William John Nicklas.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse Ward III.
She is survived by a son: Jeffrey R. (Sandra) Kreutztrager of Festus; a granddaughter: Jennifer Kreutztrager; and many other family members and friends.
Services will be private. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society 1201 Macklind Ave., St. Louis, 63110. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
