Sean-Patrick David Jinkerson, 31, of St. Louis County died Aug. 10, 2026. Mr. Jinkerson was known as “SP” to some and “Bean” by his mother. Living with the rare chromosome disorder, Smith-Magenis Syndrome (SMS), he endured challenges but enjoyed life. He experienced his First Holy Communion at St. Clare of Assisi, graduated from Southview School and looked forward to spending time with his family and drinking chocolate shakes and a good cup of coffee. He was a devoted fan of Bluegrass music, especially Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and mischievous shenanigans. Born Sept. 8, 1994, he was the son of David Marvin Jinkerson and the late Mary Colleen (Dean) Jinkerson.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a brother: Richard (Richie) Brake Jinkerson; his maternal grandparents: Dick and Sally Dean; his maternal aunts and uncles: Barbara and Scott Sorel, Jim Dean and Kirk Behymer, Patrick and Michelle Dean, Molly and Tim Newberry, Bill and Erin Dean and Richard Dean; his paternal aunts and uncles: Pamela Pigg, Richard and Melanie Goldstein and Timothy and Kimberly Jinkerson; a step-grandfather: Dewain Wilkinson; and numerous cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, caregivers and friends.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Elsie (Brake) Wilkinson; his paternal grandfather: Marvin Jinkerson; a step-grandmother: Maxine (Spry) Jinkerson; and an uncle: Steven Pigg.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at the Schrader Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Road, in Ballwin. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, 15642 Clayton Road, in Ellisville. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Wildwood.
