Sandra Kay Bruce, 77, of Herculaneum died June 7, 2024, at Scenic Nursing Home in Herculaneum. Born Jan. 27, 1947, in Alton, Ill., Mrs. Bruce was the daughter of the late Lucille (Forrler) and William Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James Bruce.
She is survived by three children: Bradley DeMunbrun of St. Louis, Diana (Dale) Loveless of Park Hills, and Kathy (the late Roger) Hoffard of Alton; four grandchildren: Ethan DeMunbrun, Jane DeMunbrun, Angie (Derrick) Smith and Christi Bockenkamp; and five great-grandchildren: Abi, Lili, Chuckie, Myra and Lucy.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Floyd (the late Shirley) Johnson and Earl (Jeri survives of Bunker Hill, Ill.) Johnson.
A memorial visitation will be from 2 p.m. until a memorial service at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 221 Brierton Lane, in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
