Sandra Jean “Sandy” Sanders, 68, of De Soto died Aug. 24, 2024, at Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Herculaneum. Ms. Sanders was a secretary for a real estate office. Born Aug. 5, 1956, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Ira and Nora (Niswonger) Rose.
She was preceded in death by her fiance: Michael Vandiver.
She is survived by two daughters: Amanda (Richard) Caby of De Soto and Heather Sanders of High Ridge; a son: Jeremy (Jessica) Vandiver of Farmington; a sister: Sharon Burns of Springfield; and seven grandchildren: Aiden, Jonathan, Adelaide, Jaidyn, Addisyn, Breann and Zade.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Services were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
