Sandra Gail Freese, 62, of Festus died June 3, 2026, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mrs. Freese worked as a manager in the restaurant industry, most recently for P'sghetti’s and Kentucky Fried Chicken. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary Knights of Columbus 1230. She enjoyed fishing, vacationing, listening to live music and, most of all, spending time with friends and family. Born March 5, 1964, in Festus, she was the daughter of Marcella (Courtois) Swaringim of Festus and the late Ernest R. Swaringim.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Chris Freese; two sons: Davis William Freese of Festus and Austin Thomas Freese of Crystal City; a sister: Vicki Granneman of Camdenton; her mother-in-law, father-in-law and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled from noon. until funeral services at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Terry Crank. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
