Ruth Jetta Anna (Kessler) Dolan, 95, of Dittmer died July 29, 2026. Mrs. Dolan was raised in Germany, where she met her husband, who was stationed there. They later moved to the U.S. in the early 1950s. After building a life together in Colorado, they retired in Kalispell, Mont. She enjoyed crocheting, going out to eat, playing and playing games such as Rummikub, which she often won, and attending church. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, caring and selfless spirit and for putting the needs of others before her own. Born Aug. 3, 1930, in Wiesbaden, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Irma (Bleitgen) and Wilhelm Kessler.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles F. Dolan.
She is survived by five grandchildren: Angela (Robert) Paugh, Kelli (Darin) DiFeo, Charles Howell, Randi Howell and Christina Wallace; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister: Roswitha Bossie; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter: Kathy Koelzer; and three siblings: Liane, Gabriele and Irmgard.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
