Roberta “Bobbie” Bringer, 62, of De Soto died Nov. 6, 2024. For 30 years, Mrs. Bringer worked in the medical field and was known for her compassion and care. She had a love for animals and enjoyed watching the birds outside her window. She was known as “Aunt Bob” to many. She loved spending time with and making memories with her family, especially with her husband and children at their family farm. She will be remembered for her kindness and generosity and for being devoted to her faith. Born Nov. 29, 1961, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Raymond “Bub” and Dorothy (Robinson) Bub.
She is survived by her husband: James Bringer; two children: Jeremy (Rochelle) Bringer and Sarah Bringer (Cameron) Beard; five grandchildren: Caleb, Gracsyn, Sophia, Josiah and Jade; two siblings: Julia (Bub) Doggendorf and Barb (Bub) Voyles.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. today, Nov. 11, at First Baptist Church of De Soto, 2000 Grace Way. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary-Robert Brown Chapel in Hillsboro.
