
Robert Christopher “Chris” Agers, 64, of St. Clair died Nov. 2, 2024, at his home. Mr. Agers was a retired electrician from Chrysler and a member of U.A.W. Local 110. Born Jan. 14, 1960, in Crystal City, he was the son of Judith (Haas) Warden of De Soto and the late Robert Gene Agers.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Kristina Freeman-Agers of St. Clair; a son: Robert “Robbie” Wayne Agers of De Soto; a stepson: Ian (Hannah) Freeman of Eureka; three grandchildren: Dillon, Mason and Jaylin; a sister: Cheri (John) Hardin of De Soto; two half-sisters: Cassie (Mike Merseal) Agers and Cindy Chappell, both of De Soto; his half-sister’s mother: Bev Agers of De Soto; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Timothy Jacob Agers.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
