Nyoka Rose Lewis, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Feb. 24, 2025, in De Soto. Born Sept. 19, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, Mrs. Lewis was the daughter of the late Robert and Mechel (Maglone) Burns.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lloyd Lewis.
She is survived by two daughters: Pamela Lewis (Dennis) Midgett of De Soto and Teresa Lewis (John) Slaven of Barnhart; two grandsons: James (Ashley) Midgett of Farmington and Matthew (Kara) Midgett of Arnold; six great-grandsons and a great-granddaughter; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Timothy Lewis; a granddaughter: Kelly Midgett; a sister: Wanda (Burns) Mouser; and a brother: Bud Burns.
Burial was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
