Norman L. Huskey, 92, of Hillsboro died Sept. 4, 2025. Mr. Huskey had worked as a heavy equipment operator and as a farmer. He was a member of the Hillsboro United Methodist Church and Operating Engineers Local 513. Born Dec. 9, 1932, in Ware, he was the son of the late Verna (Brauch) and Lloyd Huskey.
He is survived by his wife: Edna Mae (Gonz) Huskey of Hillsboro; a son: Steve (Christy) Huskey; two sisters: Betty Allen and Celeste (Ron) Roberts; a sister-in-law: Mae Huskey; and two grandchildren: Kimberly Huskey and Katie (Noah) Richardson.
He was preceded in death by a son: Wayne Huskey; a brother: Dale Huskey; and a brother-in-law: Gene Allen.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
