Nancy Joyce (Odom) Pigue, 83, of Arnold died Feb. 7, 2024, in St. Louis. Mrs. Pigue worked at St. Joseph Hospital for 29 years. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life like shopping for treasures, savoring meals at her favorite eateries and pampering herself with manicures and pedicures. She was known for her dedication, kindness and warmth. Born Dec. 14, 1940, in Blytheville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Chester and Dorothy (Graham) Odom.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Pigue.
She is survived by seven children: Joey (Rhonda) Pigue, William “Bill” Pigue, Sharon Pigue, Mark (Debbie) Pigue, Paula (Greg) Shore, Donna Pigue and Matt (Susan) Pigue; two sisters: Mary Jayne Arthur and Teresa Schuman; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A graveside service is scheduled for noon Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Bloomfield Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
