Nancy Darlene Lambert, 75, of Crystal City died April 22, 2025, in Kentucky. Ms. Lambert was retired. She enjoyed going to yard sales and having her grandsons over to visit. Born Feb. 13, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Maxine Lefler Diaz and Doyle Milton Lambert. She was the stepdaughter of the late Joseph Diaz.
She is survived by two children: Gina (Les) Kapper of Festus and Angie (Scott) Bernachi of Herculaneum; nine grandchildren: Joe (Evelyn) Chagolla of Pevely, Jennifer Coffman of Hillsboro, Robbie (Laura) French of Bonne Terre, Jacklyn Kapper of Festus, Josh (Jennifer) Chagolla of Pevely, Matt Major of Pevely, Courtney (Jake) Fletcher of Hillsboro, Nick (Bethany) Major of Bonne Terre and Miranda (Connor) Gegg of Festus; 18 great-grandchildren; six siblings: Linda Lewis of Kentucky, Wayne Lambert of De Soto, Dennis Lambert of Wentzville, Curtis (Eunice) Lambert of Pevely, Denise (John) Guzman of De Soto and Dina (Dave) McFarland of Park Hills; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sibling: Jerry Vent.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, June 28, at American Legion Post 253, 849 American Legion Drive, in Festus.
