Michael J. Jones Sr., 68, of House Springs died June 19, 2024, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mr. Jones was retired and enjoyed traveling, watching Cardinals’ baseball, Blues’ hockey and John Wayne movies. He also enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash music. His favorite snack was ice cream and he always had a glass of ice tea in his hand. He often looked forward to gatherings, holidays and the yearly family picnics. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, his friends and the family pets. Born Sept. 22, 1955, he was the son of the late Mary E. and William P. Jones.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years: Judy K. Jones.
He is survived by three children: Mike (Katie) Jones Jr., Jessica Jones and Matthew (Tanya) Jones; a brother: Donald (Norma) Jones; a grandson: Jaxson; two step-grandchildren: Maddie and Grayson; and many other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Rose Mary “Sissy” Jones; and a brother: Dennis W. Jones.
Services were held in July.
