Linda Sue McCulley, 78, of Eureka died Aug. 21, 2026. Mrs. McCulley had a talent for making ordinary moments unforgettable. She enjoyed Sunday dinners, holiday traditions and lazy afternoons spent talking with her family and friends. She was known for not letting people leave her house without a full stomach and a to-go plate. She also loved fishing at Sunnen Lake, on the bass boat with her husband on the Gasconade River, swimming in her pool and collecting antiques. She will be remembered for her friendships and love for family. Born Dec. 7, 1947, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late George Hamilton and Virginia Hunter Hamilton Jost.
She is survived by her husband: John A. McCulley; a son: John S. McCulley; a daughter: Abby L. McCulley (Christopher) Schneider; and four grandchildren: Christopher Lance Lipsinsky, Justin A. Lipsinsky, Rieley N. Schneider and Eli J. McCulley.
She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter: Shari Ann McCulley Lipsinsky; and two siblings: Dorothy Hamilton (Pete) Baker and June Hamilton (Elmer) Boston.
A celebration of life is scheduled for a later date. Memorials may be made by sharing a dinner with those you love. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
