Leroy G. McFadden, 70, of House Springs died Aug. 20, 2024. For 37 years, Mr. McFadden was dedicated to his work at Forest Product Supply, watching the company grow from its early days to the business it is today. He and his wife, Helen, loved traveling and camping. Their favorite spots were the Lake of the Ozarks and North Fork Lake in Arkansas. He had a passion for hunting and the outdoors. While he enjoyed deer hunting, he would also feed the deer that were close to his home. He was proud of his 1926 Model T and loved spending his free time tinkering with the car. He was known for his reliability, sharp wit and kind heart. Born Aug. 10, 1954, he was the son of the late Floyd and Mary McFadden.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years: Helen (Dreiser) McFadden; four children: Nikki (Jeremy) Settle of Clarksville, Tenn., Katie (Aaron) Kerperien of Dittmer, Nancy (Michael) Berryman of Fenton and Michael (Wendy) Robinson of Dittmer; four grandchildren: Justin, Kaleb, Carson and Jemma; four siblings: Brenda, Charleen, Pauleen and Mandy.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
