Kevin Dale Bishop, 60, of Hillsboro died Oct. 13. 2025, at his home. Mr. Bishop was a sixth-grade teacher at Windsor Middle School. He coached football, track and wrestling at Windsor High School and Hillsboro High School, where he was known as either Mr. Bishop or Coach Bish. He will be remembered for his teachings, coaching and the relationships he made. Born Jan. 26, 1965, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Barbara (Hodges) and Robert "Pete" Bishop.
He is survived by his wife: Lisa (Hayes) Bishop; five children: Cody Bishop of Hillsboro, Erin (Jill) Fox of Arnold, Jeane Garth of Festus, Lauren (Anthony) Garth of Eugene, Ore., and Joey (Megan) Garth of De Soto; three grandchildren: Harper, Jesse, Shae and one more on the way; a brother: Michael (Laura) Bishop of St. Louis; and four nephews: Mikey, Drew, Jack and Ryan.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
