Kathy Gayle Bradford, 72, of Kansas City died July 31, 2024, at a North Kansas City hospice. Mrs. Bradford was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Kansas City. She retired from her work for the State of Missouri to care for her husband. She loved to sew, give to others and spend time with her family. Born Aug. 10, 1951, in Iron County, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Jessie (Toppins) King.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Bradford whom she married on March 26, 1971, in De Soto.
She is survived by a daughter: Angela (Nick) DeMaria; two sons: Thomas Bradford and Jeremiah (Kenan) Bradford; eight grandchildren: Jayden, Blake, Gage, Amelia, Emsleigh, Kesed, Haddon and Eleanor; and four siblings: Jim King, Sandy Schultz, Joey King and Betty Meyer.
She also was preceded in death by a brother: John King; and a granddaughter: Miriam Bradford.
A private graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 10, at Pattonsburg Memorial Gardens in Pattonsburg. Memorials may be made to Northcare Hospice House in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 152, Pattonsburg, 64670. Arrangements are under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home in Pattonsburg.
