Karen Lynette Reeves, 81, of St. Louis died July 5, 2026. Mrs. Reeves worked in retail for 50 years at Arlans, Venture and Kohl’s. She was affectionately referred to as “Mom” by many. Born Jan. 6, 1945, in Hayti, she was the daughter of the late Edward Jennings and Dorothy Ruth Jennings.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years: William “Bill” Reeves; a daughter: Kirsten (Tony) Krausz; two grandchildren: Samantha and Richard; a sister: Judy (late Reuben) Lantto; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Dorothy (Richard) Powell.
A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21, at Michel Funeral Home, 5930 Southwest Ave., in St. Louis. A memorial service officiated by the Revs. Wanda Lawry and Alan Meyers of Oak Hill Presbyterian Church will follow the visitation. Interment will follow the service at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to BackStoppers. Arrangements are under the direction of Michel Funeral Home.
