Joyce Lea Wyatt, 67, of St. Louis died July 26, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital. Mrs. Wyatt attended Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City and Our Lady of Providence in Crestwood. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, counted down for every holiday and believed any time spent with family was time well spent. Born May 11, 1957, in Bonne Terre, she was the daughter of the late Marilyn Jean (Rosener) and Charles Cash.
She is survived by her husband: Marvin Dale Wyatt of St. Louis; five children: Chad Allen (Janice) Johnson of Elizabethtown, Ky., Joshua Matthew (Sarah) Johnson of St. James, Melanie Erin Johnson (Rick Zaiser) of Fenton, James Matthew (Holly) Wyatt of Olive Branch, Miss., and Mindy (Phillip) Fox of Lonedell; five siblings: Jeannie Ellis of Festus, Patricia Cash of Bonne Terre, Melinda (Randy) Freytag of Wartburg, Tenn., Chuck Cash of Festus and Diana Cash of Ozora; eight grandchildren: Brittany (Zachary) Camp, Dillan Johnson, Emily Johnson, Skyler Swaller, Kiley Zaiser, Jordan Williams, Heidi Williams and Amanda Thomas; three great-grandchildren Annalee Camp, Noah Lopes, and Obediah Camp.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 2, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
