Joseph Clemens Rolfes, 75, of Farmington, formerly of De Soto, died Jan. 27, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Rolfes was a retired machine operator for Heath Manufacturing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of De Soto. Born Sept. 15, 1948, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Matilda (Willow) and Clemens Joseph Rolfes.
He is survived by his wife: Sandra “Sandy” (Baker) Rolfes; a daughter: Sherry Weisser of Festus; and four grandchildren: Arianna, Xia, Zaxton and Zayne.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Marilyn Russell; and a brother: Charles Rolfes.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1, at the funeral home, officiated by Dr. Brad Delaughter. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of De Soto or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
