Jacqulyn Ann Davis, 73, of Festus died July 6, 2024, in St. Louis. Ms. Davis was a nurse with Mercy Hospital Jefferson for 41 years. After retirement, she cared for children at Firm Foundation Daycare and worked in the Festus Elementary School lunchroom. She was a member of First Baptist Church Festus-Crystal City and did volunteer work including ringing bells for the Salvation Army of Jefferson County and serving meals to those in need with her daughter’s non-profit organization, The James II Project. Born Aug. 31, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Ina (Turnbough) and William “Jack” Davis.
She is survived by two children: Pamela (Peter) Tullock of Crystal City and Karin (Greg) Kostich of Arnold; and three grandchildren: Logan Tullock of Chicago, Ill., Peyton Kostich of Arnold and Harrison Kostich of Arnold.
She was preceded in death by two siblings: Lionel Davis and Donna Davis.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31, at Double D’s Pizzeria, 13150 Tesson Ferry Road, in St. Louis, officiated by Bryan Brown. Memorials may be made to The James II Project, P.O. Box 510772, Oakville, 63151.
